We were honored to be invited by Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) (UNIMAS) as guest speakers for the Aerial Mapping & Analysis in Agriculture Workshop. This two-day event featured in-class sessions on the first day and a hands-on practical workshop at two plantation sites on the second day.
Participants explored the fundamentals of aerial mapping and survey techniques, delving into essential survey terminology and the transformative applications of drone data in agriculture management. During the field session, our team showcased advanced RTK data collection, ground control point setup, and multispectral data acquisition to evaluate plantation health effectively.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in the workshop. This collaboration with UNIMAS represents an exciting first step toward empowering the education and research sector with drone technology.
